Three things to do on WAVjunkie right now

WAVjunkie launched on Easter Sunday and the response from independent artists has been genuinely exciting. Whether you signed up before launch or arrived in the first few days, the same three things will make the biggest difference to your experience on the platform.
None of them take more than a few minutes. All of them matter more than they might seem.
Step 1
Add a profile photo
Always. This is the first step to connection with your fans. A profile without a photo is a missed opportunity - it is the first thing a listener sees when they land on your page, and it is the difference between someone stopping to listen and scrolling past. Head to your profile settings via the user icon in the top navigation and add yours now.
Step 2
Check out Fan Mail
Fan Mail is built directly into WAVjunkie - no third-party tool, no extra subscription, no CSV exports. Every artist gets it included from day one: 50 subscribers and 150 email sends per month on the free tier. Find it in your user dropdown menu and set up your fan signup page. The sooner you start building your list, the sooner you own a direct channel to your audience that no algorithm can touch.
Fan Mail is currently in beta. We expect to iron out a few rough edges as we go, and your feedback makes that happen faster. Feature requests and bug reports are always welcome at admin@wavjunkie.com or via the bug report button on every page.
Step 3 - Coming May 2026
Referrals are on their way
This one took a lot of discussion. We eventually landed on something genuinely rare in the music platform space: using referrals to permanently lower the cut we take. Every verified referral tier you reach reduces the commission WAVjunkie takes on your sales - putting more money in your pocket on every track you sell, forever. Not temporarily. Not annually. Permanently.
Here is what the tiers look like when referrals go live in May:

Once you reach a tier, you keep it. It does not reset. It does not expire. It applies to every sale you make from that point forward. We will share full details and how to access your referral link when the programme goes live next month.
